Samsung and Apple plan to release a new smartwatch in the near future. Google is now preparing the upcoming Pixel Watch. The rumor said this wearable device would be called the Pixel Watch 2 alongside the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro later this year.
If we look at the Google trend, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro should come out in October alongside the other flagship products, except the Pixel 5, which launched in September.
However, some sources tell us the design will significantly change, with a larger display and smaller bezels. The watch band mechanism is still similar to its predecessor, so users can carry forward current Pixel Watch bands. The Snapdragon W5+ 4nm will provide power to its device. Hopefully, the smartwatch will have a long last battery on a single charge. We love it if the device has some size variants, but there has been no indication of that as of yet.
Google will introduce some new products during the upcoming Google I/O event set for May 10; the company seems to unveil the Google Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold, too. Google plans to introduce these products through some teasers and extra info on other devices like the Pixel Watch 2, so there’s that. Hopefully, the products will get closer to the supposed October release date.
