Samsung rolled out the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy M53 5G in Latin American countries. Today, this Korean firm released the same update to the Galaxy M53 5G in South Korea. However, Samsung will release it to more countries soon.
Samsung Galaxy M53 5G receives the latest update with firmware version M536SKSU3CWF1. This update comes to SK Telecom’s network. Samsung claims the latest update fixes over 70 security flaws found in the smartphone; there are no new features or performance improvements.

As you may know, Samsung Galaxy M53 5G was introduced last year with Android 12 onboard. The smartphone received the Android 13 update late last year and will get the Android 14 update later this year. Samsung promises to deliver up to three major Android OS updates.
