Redmi 12 4G was introduced last month with the Helio G88 SoC, and today the company will release the 5G version. Xiaomi created the codename for the device with 23076RN4BI, believed to be the Redmi 12 5G, which has appeared on Geekbench with its key specs.
The upcoming Redmi 12 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and joined with 8GB RAM; there’s no confirmation about other memory options.
The Xiaomi 23076RN4BI will be launched in India on August 1, but it could be clearer if it’s the 4G model or the 5G version.
The device will have a similar design and a 50MP primary camera as its predecessor. However, the 5G model will have more efficient chipset processing.
The Redmi 12 5G is a version of the Redmi Note 12R, which is a Redmi 12 4G powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, a 5MP selfie shooter, and no ultrawide camera.
