Xiaomi promises to extend the software update support to Redmi K60 Ultra(also known as Extreme Edition) in China.
The smartphone will receive at least 4 major Android version updates and 5 years of over-the-air security patches, and the company will make this device the first to get MIUI 15. Xiaomi tries to compete with Samsung Galaxy devices to offer better support for its consumer’s devices.
Rendah announces this offer on its official Weibo page. Xiaomi doesn’t specify the number of MIUI updates the phone is entitled to – in Xiaomi’s world, MIUI updates typically come for many years after Android version updates have stopped.
The Redmi K60 Ultra, also known as Xiaomi 13T Pro for the global market. It has a better camera, and the smartphone uses a 6.67-inch 144Hz OLED, Dimensity 9200+ chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging.
