WhatsApp is now supporting HD videos for the latest version. This Meta platform has become the first messaging app in the world today.
The platform released the high-resolution picture feature last week, and now the company promises to roll out the same feature for video.
The platform is still in the trial period to see feedback from users. So, they need to wait for a while and don’t worry; both iOS and Android devices are getting it.
With a new feature, users can select from 480p up to 720p video quality to send to their friends and family. You will see a new HD button on the top of the screen, and then confirm whether you want to share in Standard Quality or HD Quality (aka 480p or 720p) in the dialogue that appears.
However, when users send HD images, all images, and all videos, they will be protected with end-to-end encryption. The recipient of an HD video will see an HD badge on it.
