Oppo is expected to launch a new mid-ranger smartphone – A38. According to some sources, the smartphone will have a dual camera and the rear aesthetics of other recent Oppo A series, while the front will use a waterdrop notch for the front camera.
The Oppo A38 also uses a 6.56” LCD with 720p resolution and supports up to 90 Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by Helio G80 with a 12 nm chipset technology. The smartphone will use 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage options.
The device has a dual camera setup, including a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture also a 2 MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. There’s no clear information about depth shots or macro photos availability. A38 also has a 5 MP f/2.2 selfie camera inside the waterdrop notch.
Oppo A38 will bring a 5,000 mAh battery with a USB-C charging port IP54 rating, and the smartphone will have a ColorOS 13 on top of Android 13. Oppo will launch the smartphone next month in Europe for €159, followed by a rollout in India and other Asian countries.
