Mysterious Galaxy A and Galaxy M devices’ issue seems to have no fix
Users reportedly several Samsung Galaxy version that have this issue, including Galaxy M30s, Galaxy M31, Galaxy M31s, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A51 handsets in India.
The smartphone often freezes up and gets hanged. Users can’t use the device because of frequent auto restarts. Some users said their devices are stuck in a boot loop and can’t go past the Samsung logo at startup.
Samsung India’s official forums reportedly the issue is going back at least a couple of months. There’s no official announcement from Samsung about the root cause. So, it’s not clear the issue is caused by software or a hardware issue.
Many device owners bring the Samsung phone to the service center, and they have been told that they need to replace the motherboard for $100. Many users aren’t willing to spend that much money to fix the problem.
But, there is information if the majority of phones which have issues are using the Exynos 9610 and Exynos 9611 chipset. There are no reports about similar problems being faced on these devices by users outside India.
The factory reset is not working and is costly to fix, so many users only wait until Samsung can clarify the matter. Consumers hope Samsung can clarify the case as soon as possible and won’t charge to fix it.
