Samsung Wallet service was introduced four months ago, and currently, this service is available in some countries, like China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the U.K., and the U.S. Today, the company is expected to launch this service to 13 more countries before the end of this year.
The 13 countries that will receive the Samsung Waller service are Bahrain, Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam, and UAE. Samsung Wallet allows consumers to store credit cards, debit cards, membership cards, ID cards, driver’s licenses, travel boarding passes, digital keys, gift cards, and even blockchain wallets. Previously, Samsung had two apps – Samsung Pass and Samsung Pay.
The company claims the Samsung Wallet is extremely secure, thanks to Samsung Knox. They have some ultimate security protection, including the user’s biometrics, such as a fingerprint.
According to Jeanie Han, EVP and Head of the Digital Life Team at Samsung MX, Samsung Wallet will offer convenience to the next level and gives an excellent opportunity to reap the benefits of the digital wallet.
